Job summary

Manpower Malaysia is seeking a qualified M&E engineer to assist in tendering, pre-construction, and coordination across project planning, sequencing, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves meeting with clients and stakeholders, reviewing drawings and submissions, and ensuring site quality through inspections and audits.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant M&E experience in building services or construction.
• Experience in M&E building services design, project coordination, and site supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin an advantage.

Salary:

RM 4,000 – RM 10,000 per month (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Assist during tendering and pre-construction stages (technical reviews, cost evaluations)
• Support project planning, construction sequencing, and M&E installation coordination
• Attend meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Participate in site inspections, testing & commissioning, and internal quality audits
• Review and verify engineering drawings, technical submissions, and shop drawings
• Monitor project progress and highlight technical issues, risks, and delays
• Maintain proper documentation control and records
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering, building services, or construction (warehouse or factory or data centre)
• Experience in M&E building services design, project coordination, and site supervision
• Good understanding of building regulations, codes, and statutory requirements
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
