Job summary

Aspek Harmoni Engineering SDN BHD in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, invites applications for a talented M&E Draftsman / Project Supervisor / Production Supervisor. The role combines drafting expertise with supervisory responsibilities to support our mechanical and electrical engineering operations on site and in production.

Work across design, engineering and manufacturing stages, translating concepts into precise CAD drawings and robust project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools) for creating and modifying technical drawings.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in M&E drafting, project supervision or production supervision within the engineering or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, codes and industry standards.
• Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical project management software.
• Malaysian-registered professional engineer status or willingness to pursue registration would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and documentation using CAD software.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site technical teams to meet timelines, budgets and quality.
• Monitor production activities and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct site inspections and identify issues, providing solutions.
• Liaise between design, engineering and production teams.
• Prepare technical reports and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Ensure HSE compliance on all sites.
• Train and mentor junior staff to foster continuous improvement.
• Manage procurement and inventory coordination.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical/operational challenges.
