Job summary

EWC Engineers Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a detail drafting professional to develop 2D detail design drawings with BIM experience.

You will coordinate M&E drawings across structural, architectural, landscape and interior design, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

The role requires independent work, preparation and review of drawings, and ongoing maintenance of documentation, with clear team communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
• Familiar with local building codes and submission procedures
• Exposure to ISO / drafting standards
• Be independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver timely
• Perform as a good team player
• Preferably experience in a consultant environment

To develop 2D detail design drawings, relevant drawing standards (preferably with BIM experience)

To assist in coordinating all M&E services drawings related to structural, architectural, landscape and interior design

Prepare drawings independently and review own work prior submissions

Update and maintain current drawings / documentation

Discuss ideas or issues to team verbally and written

Requirements:

Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background

Proficient in 2D & 3D AUTOCAD and other desirable software skills (Autocad Revit, BIM)

Familiar with local building codes

Familiar with local submission procedures

Exposure to ISO / drafting standards

Be independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver timely

Perform as a good team player

Preferably experience in a consultant environment
