Job summary

T.T.E.Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Drafting Engineer to prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings from engineering designs and project requirements. You will develop construction, shop, and coordination drawings for M&E systems and ensure compliance with standards and site conditions.

You will coordinate with engineers, project managers and site teams, incorporate revisions, and maintain accurate drawing records.

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, M&E, CAD or related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM would be an advantage.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Understanding of construction and M&E drawings.
Good knowledge of drawing standards, symbols, dimensions and layouts.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work under project deadlines.
Willing to travel to construction sites when required.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D drawings based on designs and project requirements.
Develop construction, shop, coordination, and as-built drawings.
Produce drawings for M&E systems (ACMV/HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
Coordinate drawings with engineers, project managers, site teams and consultants.
Incorporate revisions and site requirements into drawings.
Identify clashes between disciplines and highlight them to engineers.
Assist in coordinating M&E with structural and architectural drawings.
Prepare and maintain accurate drawing records and submission-ready drawings.
Update drawings to reflect site conditions and approved changes.
