Job summary

TGSB Malaysia is seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee all mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on active construction sites. You will ensure alignment with M&E design drawings, supervise subcontractors and technicians, drive safety culture, inspect installations, and coordinate with suppliers while keeping thorough progress and inspection records.

A diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required, with NEBOSH or IOSH certification

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as an M&E supervisor, site supervisor, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of M&E systems in construction projects.
• Certifications in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
• Relevant trade certifications in mechanical or electrical systems would be a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on the construction site.
• Ensure the implementation of the M&E design drawings and specifications.
• Supervise the work of subcontractors, engineers, and technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Provide leadership and coordinate between different teams to ensure timely completion of M&E tasks.
• Inspect and ensure that installations meet the project’s quality standards and specifications.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks, and enforce safety policies on-site.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors for M&E materials and equipment.
• Keep detailed reports on progress, including schedules, manpower, and material usage.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including site diaries and inspection records.
