Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Ria Kota Kinabalu welcomes a passionate Event Sales Manager (Wedding Planner) to drive wedding sales from inquiry to execution. Build strong relationships with planners and couples, craft tailored proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver luxurious wedding experiences.

Fluent English is required; Mandarin is an advantage. Roles require flexibility to work weekends/public holidays in a premier Sabah resort setting, with opportunities for growth within our Sales &

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in event/wedding planning and sales in luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with passion for delivering luxurious guest experiences.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage wedding sales from inquiry to event execution.
• Build relationships with wedding planners, bridal agencies and couples.
• Create tailored wedding proposals and packages to exceed client expectations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless, luxurious wedding experiences.
• Represent the resort at bridal shows and industry events.
