Job summary

Pullman Kuala Lumpur seeks a Rooms Controller to support the Rooms Division with accurate room status management and cross-department coordination, ensuring five-star service standards.

The role monitors the PMS room status, coordinates with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Reservations, and prepares daily reports, forecasts, and occupancy figures. Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred and Opera PMS proficiency is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience in Rooms Control or related hotel roles preferred.
• Five-star hotel or luxury resort experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
• Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate room status in the PMS.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure timely cleaning and release.
• Prepare daily room status, arrival, departure, and discrepancy reports.
• Assist with room allocations, blocks, and group movements.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
