Job summary

Hilton in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Suites Controller to manage daily room allocation, meet guest preferences, and maximize occupancy while coordinating with housekeeping, front office, and reservations.

You will handle group blocks, VIP and suite reservations, pre-arrival logistics, and keep communications timely to ensure a seamless, warm guest experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office or room management in hospitality.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication and guest-focused service.
• Proficient with property management systems (PMS).
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage group booking logistics: blocks, rooming lists, billing, and pre-arrival assignments.
• Prepare for seamless arrivals: confirm group and special requests and assign prior to arrival.
• Lead guest messaging: send 24-hour pre-arrival texts and respond to inquiries.
• Balance room inventory: monitor and adjust availability for today and a 14-day forecast.
• Handle VIP and suite reservations and proactively enhance guest experiences.
• Assist guest services: answer calls, log requests, assist with bookings, and resolve issues.
