Job summary

IOG Sales & Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd – Kuantan, Pahang is seeking a storekeeper with experience in inventory management and sales administration. The role requires handling LPG cylinders, maintaining records, and ensuring safety compliance.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with cleaning, coordination, and customer service duties as part of daily tasks. You will coordinate with procurement and logistics, manage documentation, and ensure a safe, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SPM/Diploma or equivalent in any field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in storekeeping or warehouse roles, preferably in oil and gas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Team player with a positive working attitude.
• Willing to travel outstation on short notice.
• Possess own transport.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to start immediately or within short notice.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: receiving, storing and issuing LPG cylinders with accurate stock levels.
• Safety compliance: follow safety regulations for LPG handling and storage.
• Documentation: keep records of transactions, orders, invoices, and deliveries.
• Coordination: work with procurement/logistics for timely deliveries and stock control.
• Housekeeping: maintain clean, organized store area and safe cylinder storage.
• Security: protect store area from theft and unauthorized access.
• Quality Control: inspect cylinders for damage; report defects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Customer Service: assist customers with exchanges or purchases and provide product information.
• Others Assignment: perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Adhering to strict safety regulations for storing and handling LPG cylinders, including proper ventilation, fire safety measures, and secure storage areas.

Documentation

• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, sales orders, sales invoices, delivery orders, including cylinder serial numbers, delivery dates, and customer information.

Coordination

• Collaborating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of LPG cylinders and maintaining optimal stock levels.

Housekeeping

• Maintaining a clean and organized store area, ensuring cylinders are stored correctly and safely.

Security

• Protecting the store area from unauthorized access and theft, ensuring the security of the LPG cylinders.

Quality Control

• Inspecting cylinders for damage or defects before and after storage and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• A thorough understanding of LPG storage and handling regulations is crucial.

Customer Service

• Assisting customers with the exchange or purchase of LPG cylinders, ensuring they receive the correct product and necessary information.
• Effective communication with team members and customers is essential for smooth operations.

Others Assignment

• To assist any other duties as requested by the immediate superior and Head of Department.
