Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a driver to perform pickups and deliveries for customers’ goods. You will ensure safety and reliability in every transport task and coordinate loading and unloading activities with care.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, documenting delivery details, and reporting any incidents to management, while adhering to client stacking requirements and company policy.

• Perform pick up and deliveries of all customers' goods in a safe and reliable manner.
• Ensure that all company vehicles are operated safely.
• Perform pre- and post-vehicle checks every morning for engine oil, radiator water, battery water, brake fluid, wiper, A permit and braking systems.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues; perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure goods are loaded with care and in accordance with stacking requirements by the client or manager.
• Report discrepancies of goods at pickup and annotate exception remarks or await further instruction from manager or executive.
• Ensure deliveries are signed with recipient name and IC number; provide copy to transport for filing.
• Report any incident involving the company truck or vehicle to your manager immediately.
• Load/unload goods and perform outstation pickups/deliveries when directed.

• Perform pick up and deliveries of all customers' goods in a safe and reliable manner


• Ensure that all company vehicle and trucks assigned is to be operate safely.


• Perform pre and post vehicle check every morning for engine oil, radiator water, battery water, brake fluid, wiper, "A" permit and braking systems is at the operational level, current and in working manner


• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance.


• Ensure that all good are loaded with care and in accordance to the stacking requirement established by the marking and by the client or your manager for all pick up and deliveries.


• Report to the warehouse executive or operation manager in even of discrepancies of the goods at point of pick up and make an exception remark on the pick up order or waits for further instruction from manager or executive.


• Ensure that all deliveries order are signed with name and I/C number of recipient and ensure a copy if handled over to the transport executive for filing.


• Report any incident involving the company truck or vehicle immediately to your manager.


• Load, unload of goods and perform outstation pick up and deliveries when directed.
