Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a responsible truck driver to transport goods, raw materials and products to customers and suppliers. You will follow schedules, stay on route, and ensure deliveries match instructions.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, report any issues, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure goods are secured and correctly documented.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company lorry safely and responsibly to transport goods, raw materials, products, and other items to customers, suppliers, or designated locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are made according to the assigned schedule and delivery instructions.
• Follow the designated route and comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Ensure the correct goods and quantities are delivered to the correct destination.
• Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading goods from the lorry where required.
• Ensure goods are properly arranged, secured, and protected during transportation.
• Check delivery documents and goods before leaving the company premises.
• Report any shortage, damage, leakage, or discrepancy immediately to the supervisor.
• Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the lorry before use, including tyres, brakes, lights, mirrors, oil, water, and other safety components.
• Keep the lorry clean and in good operating condition.
• Report any vehicle defect, breakdown, accident, or damage to the supervisor immediately.
• Send the lorry for scheduled servicing, inspection, or repair as instructed.
