Job summary

Soon Soon Group is recruiting a driver to operate a 5–8 ton lorry for timely delivery and collection of goods in Port Klang, Malaysia. You will follow schedules, inspect the vehicle, and ensure documents are accurate.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route planning, and collaboration with warehouse staff. A minimum 1–2 years of experience with similar vehicles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience driving a 5–8 ton lorry.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 5–8 ton lorry to deliver and collect goods according to the assigned schedule.
• Ensure goods are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
• Load and unload goods when required and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other transport documents before and after each trip.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including checking tyres, brakes, engine oil, lights, and other essential components.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Keep the assigned lorry clean, roadworthy, and in good operating condition.
• Comply with all road traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Collect and submit signed delivery documents to the relevant department.
• Assist with warehouse or logistics activities when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
