Job summary

Exypnos Engineering Sdn Bhd in Puncak Alam, Selangor, invites an experienced Lorry Driver to join our transport team. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries and support our growing manufacturing and logistics operations.

The role requires a clean HGV/Lorry licence, at least 3 years' driving experience, and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service. You will work both independently and with dispatch to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or Lorry driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years' professional experience as a lorry or goods vehicle driver.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws and vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Excellent time management and route planning abilities to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items and perform manual loading tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Digital literacy for recording deliveries and communicating via vehicle dispatch systems.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and vehicle tracking technology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manoeuvre large goods vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure goods reach their destinations on schedule and in excellent condition
• Perform pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements
• Load and secure cargo appropriately, ensuring compliance with weight regulations and cargo safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times and any incidents or accidents
• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff and dispatchers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues
• Monitor vehicle performance and report any mechanical faults promptly to prevent breakdowns
• Comply with all regulations related to driving hours, vehicle maintenance and cargo handling
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle both inside and out
