Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Lorry Driver to transport goods safely to designated locations in Selangor. You will ensure timely deliveries, inspect and maintain the lorry, and handle delivery documents accurately.

The ideal candidate holds a valid GDL license with proven 5-ton lorry experience, is physically fit, punctual, and safety-conscious, with a good reading ability for delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

• Requires valid GDL driving license with proven 5-ton lorry experience.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes in the area.
• Physically fit for loading/unloading tasks and manual handling.
• Responsible, punctual and safety-minded.
• Able to read and understand delivery documents.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to designated destinations safely and on time.
• Plan efficient delivery routes.
• Inspect lorry before and after trips (fuel, tires, brakes, lights).
• Maintain cleanliness and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Handle delivery documents (DO, invoices) properly.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies.
• Report vehicle issues, accidents or delays to supervisor.
• Assist in warehouse or logistics tasks when required.

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lorry Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. The driver will ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicle condition, and follow all road safety and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials to assigned destinations safely and on time.
• Plan delivery routes to ensure efficient transportation.
• Inspect the lorry before and after trips (fuel, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Ensure delivery documents (DO, invoices, etc.) are properly handled and signed.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in warehouse or logistics tasks when required.

Requirements

• Valid GDL driving license & proven experience driving 5-ton lorry.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
