Job summary

Mr. Tomato Fresh Market Sdn. Bhd. in Port Klang seeks a reliable lorry driver to join our logistics team.

You will transport goods to stores and customers, load and unload cargo, secure items, and ensure on-time deliveries while observing safety, road rules, and company policies. A proactive approach and good knowledge of local routes are valued. A valid lorry driving license, at least 1 year of driving experience, and the ability to work independently with punctuality are required.

Qualifications

• Valid lorry driving license (GDL Lesen or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant driving experience.
• Proven ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Physical ability to perform manual loading and unloading tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a lorry for the transportation of goods.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
