Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable full-time lorry driver to load, transport, and deliver items to clients in a safe, timely manner. You will review orders for completeness, maintain logs, and support other departments as needed.

The role requires a valid heavy goods vehicle license, 1–3 years of experience, and strong knowledge of road rules and safety practices. Malaysian candidates only.

Qualifications

• Valid heavy goods vehicle driving license with a clean record.
• 1–3 years of professional lorry driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of road rules, traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
• Good communication and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner.
• Ensure orders are complete prior to delivery and customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules; meet delivery deadlines.
• Support other departments as required.

• Loading and unloading, transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in safe, timely manner.
• Review and ensure the orders are complete before delivery and the customer is satisfied.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Keep good book records of documents and receipts relating to deliveries.
• Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicles.
• Meeting deliveries deadlines.
• Perform tasks assigned by department Supervisor/HOD.
• Assist/support other departments in their work as required.
• Undertake miscellaneous job related with assigned duties.

What we’re looking for

• A valid heavy goods vehicle (lorry) driving license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 1 years of experience as a professional lorry driver, ideally in a similar logistics or transportation role
• Strong knowledge of road rules, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices. -- Able to use Waze or Google.
• Responsible and punctual person
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
