Job summary

Bonia Corporation Berhad is seeking a delivery driver to support our Klang Valley network, with responsibilities spanning store deliveries, outstation trips and warehouse support. You will ensure accurate stock transfers, handle carga with care and maintain vehicle safety through regular inspections.

Flexibility for overnight travel and overtime is required. The role emphasizes safe driving, attention to documentation, and timely communication with stores and the warehouse team.

Qualifications

• Valid Malaysian CDL and GDL for goods vehicle.
• 3+ years lorry/vehicle delivery experience preferred.
• Familiar with Klang Valley routes and malls.
• Physically capable of load/unload operations.
• Able to read delivery orders and stock forms.
• Safe driving habits and compliance with road laws.
• Honest, punctual and reliable with company assets.
• Willing to travel outstation and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries: move fashion merchandise from warehouse to Klang Valley stores per schedule.
• Outstation deliveries: travel to Malacca, Ipoh and other locations as required.
• Stock handling: load/unload cartons carefully to prevent damage.
• Delivery accuracy: verify quantities, labels, orders before departure and on delivery.
• Proof of delivery: obtain store acknowledgement and return documents to warehouse.
• Vehicle maintenance: daily pre/post-trip inspections of tyres, brakes, fluids and lights.
• Vehicle cleanliness: keep lorry clean and report defects promptly.
• Road safety/compliance: follow traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Delivery planning: follow routes, report delays, coordinate with warehouse/PICs.
• Warehouse support: assist with stock prep, sorting, loading, unloading as needed.

Job description

1. Store Deliveries: Deliver fashion merchandise from the warehouse to designated Klang Valley stores according to the approved delivery schedule.

2. Outstation Deliveries: Travel to Malacca, Ipoh and other designated locations when required, including occasional overnight trips if necessary.

3. Stock Handling: Load, unload and handle cartons, merchandise and other goods carefully to prevent damage, loss or misplacement.

4. Delivery Accuracy: Verify quantities, carton labels, delivery orders and stock transfer documents before departure and upon delivery.

5. Proof of Delivery: Obtain the receiving store's acknowledgement and ensure all delivery documents are completed and returned to the warehouse.

6. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, coolant and other essential safety components.

7. Vehicle Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned lorry and report any defects, breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly.

8. Road Safety and Compliance: Comply with Malaysian road traffic laws, applicable commercial vehicle regulations, driving-hour requirements and company safety procedures.

9. Delivery Planning: Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, report delays promptly, and coordinate with warehouse personnel and store PICs regarding delivery arrangements.

10. Warehouse Support: Assist with stock preparation, sorting, loading, unloading, returns and other warehouse or logistics duties when required.

Job Requirements

1. Age / Experience Profile: Preferably 30-40 years old, with relevant driving experience. Consider focusing on experience and job suitability rather than age as a strict eligibility condition.

2. Driving Licence: Possess a valid Malaysian Competent Driving Licence (CDL) of the appropriate class for the assigned lorry.

3. Goods Driving Licence (GDL): Possess a valid GDL applicable to the assigned goods vehicle, as required by JPJ regulations.

4. Driving Experience: Preferably at least 3 years of lorry-driving experience, particularly in delivery, distribution or logistics operations.

5. Route Familiarity: Familiar with Klang Valley roads, shopping malls, loading bays, delivery access procedures and major outstation routes.

6. Physical Fitness: Physically fit to perform routine loading, unloading and handling of merchandise safely.

7. Safety Awareness: Demonstrate safe driving habits, good road discipline and a responsible attitude towards vehicle and cargo safety.

8. Documentation Skills: Able to read and complete delivery orders, stock transfer forms, delivery records and other basic operational documents.

9. Personal Attributes: Honest, punctual, disciplined, reliable and careful when handling company merchandise and vehicles.

10. Work Flexibility: Willing to work according to delivery schedules, travel outstation when required, work overtime when necessary and support warehouse operations as assigned.
