• Loading and unloading goods onto and from the lorry, both at the warehouse and at delivery locations.
• Assist in picking, packing, and storing goods. This can also include helping with warehouse inventory and performing receiving and checking of incoming goods.
• Accompany the driver to deliver goods to customers, helping to ensure each delivery is complete and properly acknowledged.
• Handle all items carefully to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
• Arrange goods properly inside the lorry to prevent damage during transit.
• Compile delivery records and reports, and report any delivery-related problems to senior staff.
• Maintain the cleanliness and security of the lorry.
• Adhere to all safety requirements at the workplace and customer sites.
