Job summary

Double E Makii Makii SDN BHD is seeking a Lorry Driver (GDL) cum Warehouse Assistant in Malaysia to join our logistics team. You will drive the company lorry to deliver and collect goods, ensure loads are secured, and assist with warehouse tasks.

The role requires a valid GDL, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in driving or warehouse work is advantageous and physical work including loading/unloading is expected.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid GDL (good standing).
• Experience as a lorry driver and/or warehouse assistant is an advantage.
• Able to perform physical work including loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorry safely to deliver and collect goods according to the assigned schedule.
• Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from the lorry.
• Check delivery orders and ensure documents are signed and completed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
• Assist in receiving, checking, sorting, and storing warehouse stock.
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery.
• Assist with stock counting and inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety.

Lorry Driver (GDL) CUM Warehouse Asisstant

This role combines lorry driving and warehouse operations. You will drive the company lorry to deliver and collect goods according to assigned schedules, ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition, and assist with warehouse operations including receiving, checking, sorting, storing, picking, packing, and preparing goods for delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company lorry safely to deliver and collect goods according to the assigned schedule
• Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from the lorry
• Check delivery orders (DO) and ensure all documents are properly signed and completed
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle
• Assist in receiving, checking, sorting, and storing warehouse stock
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery
• Assist with stock counting and inventory control
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety

About you

• Possess a minimum valid GDL
• Experience as a lorry driver and/or warehouse assistant is an advantage
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and trustworthy
• Able to perform physical work, including loading and unloading goods
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and delivery procedures is preferred
