Job summary

Makii One Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Lorry Driver (GDL) cum Warehouse Assistant. You will drive the company lorry to deliver and collect goods, ensure safe loading and delivery, and assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, sorting, storing, and picking goods.

The role requires a minimum valid GDL, physical stamina, and reliability; experience in driving and warehouse work is an advantage. You will work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• GDL license required or in progress
• Experience as lorry driver and/or warehouse assistant is an advantage
• Physically capable to perform loading/unloading and lifting tasks

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorry safely to deliver and collect goods according to the assigned schedule
• Load, unload, secure, and deliver goods in good condition
• Assist with warehouse operations including receiving, checking, sorting, storing, picking, and packing goods
• Prepare goods for delivery and check delivery orders/documents for accuracy
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle
• Assist in stock counting and inventory control
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety

Lorry Driver (GDL) CUM Warehouse Assistant

This role combines lorry driving and warehouse operations. You will drive the company lorry to deliver and collect goods according to assigned schedules, ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition, and assist with warehouse operations including receiving, checking, sorting, storing, picking, packing, and preparing goods for delivery.

Key responsibilities

Drive company lorry safely to deliver and collect goods according to the assigned schedule

Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition

Assist with loading and unloading goods from the lorry

Check delivery orders (DO) and ensure all documents are properly signed and completed

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle

Assist in receiving, checking, sorting, and storing warehouse stock

Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery

Assist with stock counting and inventory control

Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety

About you

Possess a minimum valid GDL

Experience as a lorry driver and/or warehouse assistant is an advantage

Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and trustworthy

Able to perform physical work, including loading and unloading goods

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and delivery procedures is preferred
