Dulai Fruits Enterprise in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced delivery driver to operate company lorries and ensure timely, safe transport of goods. You will perform loading and unloading, verify delivery documents, and maintain vehicle condition to meet daily schedules.
The role requires knowledge of Malaysian traffic rules, a valid driving licence, and a strong emphasis on safety and punctuality. Previous lorry driving experience is advantageous, with duties possibly including warehouse
Drive and operate company lorries safely to transport goods, materials, equipment, or products to designated locations.
Carry out delivery and collection activities according to the assigned schedule and delivery instructions.
Load and unload goods safely and ensure that goods are properly secured during transportation.
Check goods and delivery documents such as Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and relevant documents before departure and upon delivery.
Ensure the lorry is in good and safe operating condition, including checking tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, and other basic vehicle conditions.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any defects, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor immediately.
Maintain cleanliness of the lorry and ensure the vehicle is properly maintained.
Comply with all road traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
Ensure timely delivery and obtain acknowledgement/signature from customers or receiving parties where required.
Report accidents, damages, delays, traffic incidents, or other delivery issues to the supervisor promptly.
Assist with warehouse or loading activities when required, including arranging and securing goods.
Keep proper records of mileage, fuel usage, delivery trips, and other vehicle-related information as required by the company.
Safeguard company goods, documents, and vehicle while carrying out assigned duties.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or management from time to time.
Possess a valid driving licence appropriate for the lorry type.
Have good knowledge of Malaysian roads and traffic regulations.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading activities when required.
Previous lorry driving experience is an advantage.
