Job summary

Flex (Global Procurement & Supply Chain) is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia. The role plans, schedules, and routes inbound/outbound domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

You will lead day-to-day logistics activities, coordinate export/import documents, and monitor licensing, tariffs, and carrier performance to support product movement and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience and training.
• Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations with advanced experience using MRP systems.
• Possesses a strong understanding of basic logistics knowledge, including inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, and freight cost calculations.

Responsibilities

• Directs expediting export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections.
• Arranges shipping details such as export licenses, customs declarations, and packing, shipping, and routing of product; monitors export license and compliance.
• Investigates and recommends transportation and freight costs as well as appropriate routing and carriers to be used.
• Provides cost effective, efficient and traceable movement of company products both in-bound and out-bound.
• Expedites import-export arrangements and maintains current information on import-export tariffs, licenses, and restrictions.
• Audits freight bills and prepares and negotiates claims.
• Interprets laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
• Schedules company vehicles for service and normal maintenance checks and ensures all are registered and have proper insurance.
• Ensures all drivers are qualified and have the proper licenses.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Logistics Supervisor located in Mechanical Plant Batu Kawan, Penang.

Plans, schedules, and routes in-bound and out-bound domestic and international shipments of freight, using knowledge of postal regulations, tariffs and company policies.

What a typical day looks like:
