Job summary

JINJING TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for a Logistics Officer to coordinate inbound shipments and ensure smooth importing processes.

The role focuses on materials, spare parts, and equipment movement, engaging with freight forwarders, brokers, and authorities. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or bachelor’s in logistics/SCM, with at least 2 years’ experience and knowledge of import/export documentation and customs clearance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, import/export, shipping, or a related field
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping procedures
• Strong experience in shipment coordination and inbound logistics operations
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes and coordination with customs brokers or relevant authorities
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with logistics or ERP systems is an advantage
• Chinese-speaking preferred (due to business requirements with Chinese-speaking stakeholders)

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and monitoring incoming shipments of raw materials, spare parts, equipment and other imported goods

• Prepare, verify and maintain import documentation, including customs declarations, import permits and related shipping documents

• Coordinate with Purchasing Department, suppliers and logistics service providers to resolve import-related issues and ensure smooth inbound logistics operations
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates on import schedules, customs clearance progress and any potential delays
• Verify import-related invoices and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and timely processing

As a Logistics Officer, you will be part of the team ensuring goods move smoothly from suppliers to our operations. You’ll coordinate with internal teams and external partners, monitor deliveries, and help keep our logistics processes efficient and on schedule. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating and monitoring incoming shipments of raw materials, spare parts, equipment and other imported goods.

Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers and relevant authorities to ensure timely customs clearance and cargo delivery.

What we're looking for
