Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for our Glenmarie facility in Selangor. This full-time role oversees warehousing and distribution, optimising supply chain processes, staff supervision, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet demanding customer requirements.

You will manage 3PL relationships, monitor inbound/outbound flows, and drive efficiency with accuracy in reports and compliance with import/export and customs regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehousing and distribution experience.
• Retail / F&B exposure is a plus.
• Inbound and outbound process flows, forecast and inventory management.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Expert knowledge of logistics regulations including import/export, customs, dangerous goods handling and aviation security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 3PL service provider management to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery services.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
• Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency in storage capacity, pick & pack, FIFO processes & VAS solutions.
• Coordinate movement of goods with internal stakeholders for timely deliveries.
• Track and report cost performance of supply chain against contractual terms.
• Manage shipping documents and banking paperwork between shipper, consignee, and forwarder.
• Resolve complaints and problems in a timely manner.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at our Glenmarie facility in Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehousing and distribution centre. As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for optimising our supply chain processes, managing staff, and ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and meeting our customers' demanding delivery requirements.

Job Description:

• 3PL service provider management to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery services
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs
• Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency in storage capacity, pick & pack, FIFO process, VAS solutions etc.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate the movement of goods and ensure timely deliveries
• Track and trace the cost performance of supply chain with respect to business performance in alignment with contractual terms
• Create and manage logistics movement dashboard accurately to provide reports to stakeholders
• Negotiate freight rates with logistics service provider for overall service quality and quantity and to ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents
• Manage essential shipping documents and bank credit applications between shipper, consignee, forwarder etc.
• Respond and resolve complaints and problems on timely manner.

Education & Skills : -

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in warehousing & distribution, shipping experiences or equivalent in the similar position. Experience in Retail / F&B is an added advantage.
• Inbound & outbound process flows, forecast & inventory management, distribution strategies etc. Retail products management is an added advantage
• Able to communicate with fluent Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
• Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including security requirements to include certification in dangerous goods handling and aviation security
