ECCO STEEL INDUSTRIES SDN BHD – Taman Senai, Johor is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to coordinate daily transportation, manage inventory transactions, and support warehouse operations.

This role suits someone with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring accurate documentation and smooth material flow.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing operations; fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in the manufacturing or steel industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes; familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily transportation activities to support deliveries and operations.
• Monitor and track daily deliveries to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
• Receive and verify incoming materials (e.g., Wire Rod and BRC) against documents and stock, and post inventory transactions.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) for transportation services and coordinate with Finance for payment processing.
• Organize and maintain returned Delivery Orders (DOs) and related logistics documents.
• Prepare and issue Mill Certificates (Mill Certs) accurately for outgoing products.
• Provide backup support for CTS preparation and other operational activities when required.

ECCO STEEL INDUSTRIES SDN BHD – Taman Senai, Johor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transportation activities, managing inventory transactions, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure the smooth flow of materials and finished goods.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Transportation Coordination

• Coordinate and schedule daily lorry arrangements to support customer deliveries and operational requirements.
• Monitor and track daily deliveries to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
• Liaise with transport service providers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Perform weighing activities for incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accurate receiving and shipping records.

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Receive and verify incoming materials, including Wire Rod (WR) and BRC, against delivery documents and physical stock.
• Record and post inventory transactions accurately into system.
• Update and maintain scrap material records.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and stock verification.

Documentation & Administration

• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) for transportation services and coordinate with the Finance Department for payment processing.
• Organize, file, and maintain returned Delivery Orders (DOs) and related logistics documents.
• Prepare and issue Mill Certificates (Mill Certs) accurately for outgoing products.
• Ensure all logistics and inventory records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.

Operational Support

• Provide backup support for CTS preparation and other operational activities when required.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and Transport providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in logistics, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing operations. Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in the manufacturing or steel industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
