Job summary

Hisakaworks SEA Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya is seeking a logistics professional to oversee the company's end-to-end logistics operations, coordinating with production, sales and forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires at least a diploma and 2 years' experience in logistics, with strong skills in ERP and MS Office. You will negotiate freight, handle export permits, and liaise with government agencies to support export and direct shipments.

Qualifications

• Qualification Required: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation, or equivalent.
• Industrial Background Preferred: At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Technical Knowledge Required: any ERP, MS Office, Excel.
• Experienced in logistics, shipping, warehouse, and transport management.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to work with the team

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall logistics operation of the Company.
• Liaise with Customs / MITI or any other government agencies when required.
• Responsible the handling for Export Permit related matter (STA2010).
• Acquire in-depth knowledge on current operational procedures and take steps for improvement and cost savings.
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with those in the team as well as cross-functionally.
• Responsible to plan, monitoring, expediting shipment and ensuring timely delivery, coordinating with inter-department, production, transporter, forwarders on shipment arrangement.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, production, warehouse, and other related departments for order fulfilment of export and direct shipments.
• Co-ordinate shipping documents with customer & oversea vendor, eg. Pro-forma Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Custom Forms & MITI (Form D), MIDA tax exemption, etc.
• Co-ordinate payment related issue with account department if any.
• Monitor and follow up with suppliers/ customers to ensure on time and accurate shipping documents submission.
• Requesting and negotiating on freight quotations with forwarders for export shipments.
• Requesting sailing schedule from forwarders for export shipments.
• Contact carrier representative on make arrangements and to issue shipping instructions and delivery of materials.
• Liaise with Insurance company on arrangement of Inland Transit / Marine Insurances for shipment and delivery of finished goods.
