We are looking for a Logistics Executive to manage import shipping operations, import documentation, customs-related processes, and shipment coordination to ensure timely dispatch, receipt, and clearance of goods.
This role supports the Supply Chain team by coordinating with internal departments, shipping liners, forwarders, vendors, customs-related parties, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations, regulatory compliance, accurate system updates, and cost-efficient logistics arrangements.
Manage import shipping arrangements and follow up on shipment status from document checking until shipment completion.
Review, prepare, update, and maintain import shipping documents, including invoices, permits, bill of lading, shipment release documents, customs invoices, insurance documents, and other related records.
Support import customs and FTZ customs processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Coordinate with shipping liners, forwarders, surveyors, vendors, warehouse, finance, QA/QC, and other internal teams on import shipment matters.
Monitor shipment schedules, ETD/ETA updates, goods-in-transit status, shipment release, and timely receipt of goods.
Update shipment information in SAP, Fiori, GIT files, tracking reports, and other internal monitoring records accurately and on time.
Follow up on payment, shipment tracking, vendor shipment plans, insurance notifications, claims, and related import matters.
Assist in handling shipment issues, documentation discrepancies, container issues, customs matters, and other import-related operational problems.
Support monitoring of outsourced shipments, spare parts, machinery imports, and overseas shipment matters where required.
Maintain proper filing and documentation to support audit, compliance, and operational traceability.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve logistics efficiency, minimize cost, and support smooth import operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or related discipline.
Fresh graduates may be considered; relevant experience in import logistics, shipping, forwarding, customs, or supply chain operations would be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of import customs processes, FTZ customs processes, and Incoterms.
Experience or exposure to SAP system would be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Good coordination, communication, follow-up, and documentation skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipment documents and deadlines.
Able to work with internal teams and external stakeholders in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Self-driven, responsible, and willing to learn.
