Job summary

M&N Furniture Trading Sdn. Bhd. in Semenyih, Selangor is seeking a result-driven purchasing professional to manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee inventory planning.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience and a strong command of Mandarin and English. You will coordinate purchasing orders, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely procurement while collaborating with operations, warehouse, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in SCM, Business Admin, Logistics, Purchasing or related field.
• 2–5 years in Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management.
• Understanding of inventory control and stock planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Mandarin and English proficiency preferred.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
• Able to work 5.5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and quality products.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and lead times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Resolve purchasing-related issues and ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock availability.
• Plan stock replenishment based on sales trends and business requirements.
• Coordinate incoming container shipments with suppliers, container forwarders, and warehouse personnel.
• Plan unloading schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays.
• Ensure accurate receiving documentation and inventory updates after unloading.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory, and supply chain processes.
• Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
