Job summary

RTX seeks a Lead, Logistics, Warehouse & Customs & Compliance to oversee inbound/outbound logistics and 3PL performance in Malaysia. The role ensures customs compliance, material flow, and warehouse integrity while aligning with global trade requirements.

You will drive process improvements, coordinate with planners and audits, and ensure KPI adherence. Strong knowledge of 3PL operations and ERP systems is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, including vendor management and customs processes.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations, bonded warehouse requirements, and international trade compliance.
• Hands-on experience with 3PL vendors in a manufacturing or MRO environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems and strong proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Logistics & Warehouse Oversight: Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers for transportation, receiving, and warehousing activities. Ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments in line with production and delivery schedules.
• Customs & Trade Compliance: Ensure accurate customs declarations and clearance per Malaysian regulations, classify HS codes, permits, and duties.
• Governance & Policy Adherence: Maintain SOPs and assist audits; monitor 3PL KPIs, SLAs, safety and regulatory standards.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Track metrics, identify gaps, drive improvements, and support audits.
