Job summary

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our company in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the vital link between our warehouse operations, transport management and customer requirements, helping to optimise our supply chain processes and maintain our commitment to delivering excellence in food logistics services.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating and scheduling warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatch of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery

Managing inventory records and maintaining accurate documentation of stock levels, movements and locations

Liaising with transport providers and customers to arrange shipments and resolve any logistics-related issues

Monitoring warehouse staff activities and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures

Preparing shipping documentation, manifests and delivery notes required for distribution activities

Tracking shipments and providing regular updates to customers regarding delivery status and timelines

Identifying inefficiencies in current logistics processes and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Assisting in warehouse maintenance and organisation to ensure optimal storage conditions and accessibility of goods

Supporting the implementation of quality control measures to ensure products meet required standards before dispatch

Collaborating with other departments to forecast demand and plan logistics operations accordingly

What we're looking for

Proven experience working in a logistics, warehousing or distribution environment, ideally within the food or fast-moving consumer goods sector

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels

Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of inventory management principles and experience with stock control systems

Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling documentation and record-keeping

Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges

A strong commitment to health and safety compliance and understanding of warehouse safety protocols

Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment

Physical capability to perform warehouse-related duties and willingness to work in a warehouse environment

Relevant tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
