Job summary

PENTAMASTER CORPORATION BERHAD, a Malaysian investment holding company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, is seeking a Logistics Lead to coordinate export/import shipments and ensure on-time delivery. You will prepare reports, liaise with forwarders, and manage customs compliance while guiding planners and purchase teams.

Applicants should have a Diploma or degree, at least 5 years in logistics and customs, strong English and Bahasa skills, and proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in any field is preferred.
• At least 5 year working in logistic and custom rules and regulation is preferred.
• Good command of written and verbal English and converse well in Bahasa Malaysia & Bahasa Cina
• Strong computer application skills in MS Office i.e. Excel and Word
• Resourceful, possess good negotiation skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude, strong analytical/structural skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and update on time and accurately
• Compile monthly KPI report on time and accurately
• Ensure KPI and CIP achieve on time
• Submit monthly report (import/export) to custom
• Liaise with the forwarder on shipment pick-up and deliveries
• Handle company's shipments export / import
• Follow up on the inbound and outbound shipment delivery status and ensure the on time delivery
• Advise customer, planner and purchaser on the delivery schedule
• Prepare the shipment's documents (Delivery Order / Packing List / Commercial Invoices)
• Prepare and apply or renew LMW license on time
• Prepare and apply the custom’s approval for shipment exemption (import /export).
• Coordinate the custom correspondence.
• Liaise with packers for shipment’s packing / crating.
• Attend and eliminate any issue in the weekly project or operation meeting as well as the customer meeting.
• Ensure the team to perform the task appropriately and fulfill the audit requirement.
• Lead or attend the internal, external or customer audit activities.
• Ensure resource and time management, problem solving, discipline and company policy.
