Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and logistic management from receiving to delivery.
• Plan and schedule transportation for in-house drivers and outsourced vendors.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Maintain proper delivery documentation including Delivery Orders and labels.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards for transportation.
• Coordinate with customer service, sales, and QA for returns and delivery concerns.
• Analyze logistics costs and identify areas for cost savings and improvements.
• Generate monthly reports on on-time delivery, maintenance expenses, and logistics costs.

Job description

Logistic & Warehouse Assistant Manager / Senior Executive

Oversee daily warehouse operations and logistic management, including receiving finished goods from production till delivering to customers.

Plan and schedule transportation and trip for in-house lorry drivers and outsourced transport vendors based on customer orders and delivery timelines for smooth delivery operations

Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve delivery-related issues.

Maintain proper documentation for delivery, including Delivery Order and Finished Good Label.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards for transportation of finished goods.

Liaise with customers service and sales teams to address delivery concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Coordinate with quality control teams to handle defective or returned products.

Manage lorry drivers and ensure adherence to company policies and road safety regulations.

Assign delivery routes and monitor vehicle movement through GPS tracking systems.

Ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are followed to prevent breakdowns and delays.

Manage fuel consumption, toll charges, and other transportation expenses.

Address any issues faced by drivers on the road, such as accidents or breakdowns.

Analyze logistics costs and identify areas for cost-saving and process improvement.

Generate and present reports on monthly on time delivery performance, logistics repair and maintenance expenses and logistics cost

Implement continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation in a manufacturing setup. Working experience in FMCG is added advantage.

Experience with ERP/Warehouse Management Systems is an advantage.

Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Excellent coordination and organizational skills.

Knowledge of transportation laws and safety regulations.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

We are manufacturing all kinds and all sizes of corrugated cardboard as A flute, B flute and AB flute and the capacity is came to 5000 tons/month. We are supplying our products as semi-products (sheets) to the Printing Houses and the Processing Factories who convert to variety type of boxes. Our target in the future was manufacturing E flute, F flute, EB flute, BB flute and EA flute corrugated cardboard and also based on customer demands. In the mean time, our company has invested in few machines to enhance the company growth in domestic market and looking for possible customer and partnership in the country and international.
