Job summary

Fajar Palmkel Sdn Bhd in Rawang, Malaysia invites a Logistics Operator to join our team. You will collect PK samples from trucks, submit to lab for QA, and plan truck traffic in the yard while overseeing unloading procedures.

The role requires forklift experience with a valid license, and the ability to communicate in Bahasa Melayu. You must be precise, organized, and adhere to GMP/HACCP and SSHE standards; training and daily checks are part of the routine.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma with 1 year logistics experience or 5 years in logistics.
• Experience handling forklift with valid license.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu.
• Must be precise, accurate, and well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GMP/HACCP standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect PK samples from trucks and submit to lab for QA approval and loading.
• Plan PK truck traffic in the yard and oversee unloading process.
• Perform visual checks during unloading and record in the unloading form.
• Report any foreign material immediately and stop unloading as required.
• Ensure correct product unload to the designated storage tank.
• Inspect and flush tankers prior to loading.
• Submit samples to lab and load into road tankers after approval.
• Stop pipeline transfer per SOP and notify PIC and maintenance.
• Ensure daily GMP/HACCP checks are completed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in loading/unloading areas.
• Prevent spillage and clean promptly to avoid contamination.
• Report technical failures to PIC and coordinate with maintenance.
• Comply with SSHE regulations and participate in trainings.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by Head of Department.

To collect PK sample from the trucks and submit to lab for QA and to follow up for approval.

To plan the traffic of PK trucks in the yard and perform unloading process.

Ensure to perform visual checking of PK unloading during unloading process and to record down in the unloading form.

Ensure to report immediately for any foreign material found in the unloading truck and stop the unloading activity until further notice.

To check and ensure the right product is unloaded to the right storage tank.

To perform tanker inspection and flushing prior to road tanker loading.

To collect sample and submit to lab for QA approval and to perform loading into road tankers after sample approval.

To perform and stop pipeline transfer by complying to the SOP and to notify the relevant PIC and group accordingly.

To ensure all relevant GMP / HACCP checking is done on daily basis.

Always upkeep cleanliness at the loading and unloading area and ensuring all the necessary cleaning tools are well kept and organized.

To ensure no spillage of raw material and to ensure to immediately clean it to avoid any possible contamination.

Rising technical failure or issues to be promptly reported to PIC and communicate with maintenance team for any works needed.

To ensure compliance and enforcement of quality standard and departmental SOP.

To ensure compliance and enforcement of SSHE regulation.

To actively participate in weekly, monthly trainings

Assists in other duties as deem necessary as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).

Job Success Requirements

SPM/Diploma and 1 year of relevant working experience or 5 years of working experience in Logistics operations

Experience in handling forklift and valid license.

Understanding of quality standards is preferrable.

Able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu.

Must be precise, accurate, and well organized and have strong attention to details.

Forklift experience / Experience in manufacturing industry.
