Job summary

Givaudan offers a Logistics Intern position focused on assisting with shipping and warehouse activities in Melaka. You will support import shipment clearance monitoring, document preparation, and administrative tasks while reporting to the Assistant Supply Chain Manager.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in logistics or related fields, available for at least four months, with eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor's Degree in logistics, warehouse management, shipping, transportation, supply chain, or equivalent.
• Available for an internship period for 4 months or more.
• Additional part-time or internship experience in relevant field is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Strong enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
• Responsible with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support import shipment clearance monitoring, documentation completion, and submission in Shipping.
• Aid in preparing import shipment documentation for HS Code classification challenges by MY Custom within Shipping.
• Assist with shipping administrative tasks such as updating reports, validating invoices, and maintaining records in Shipping.
• Help sort hardcopy shipping documents for duty drawback processes in Shipping.
• Support document filing and maintenance for audits and update team boards in Shipping & Warehouse.
• Assist in creating SOPs, OPLs, and workflows for new warehouses after Manager review in Warehouse.
• Aid in uploading and updating audit closure evidence in Warehouse.
• Support Warehouse Supervisor in conducting training for newcomers in both Shipping & Warehouse.

Logistics Intern - Your future position?

As the Logistics Intern , you will assist with various shipping and warehouse tasks including import shipment clearance monitoring, documentation preparation, administrative tasks, and more. You will be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka and will be reporting to Assistant Supply Chain Manager.
