Job summary

Givaudan is seeking a Logistics Intern based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, for an internship of 4 months or longer. You will assist with import shipment clearance monitoring, documentation, and general shipping tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in logistics, warehouse management, shipping, transportation, supply chain, or equivalent.
• Available for an internship period of 4 months or more.
• Additional part-time or internship experience in relevant field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
• Responsible with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with import shipment clearance monitoring, documentation completion, and submission in Shipping.
• Aid in preparing import shipment documentation for HS Code classification challenges by MY Custom within Shipping.
• Assist with shipping administrative tasks such as updating reports, validating invoices, and maintaining records in Shipping.
• Help sort hardcopy shipping documents for duty drawback processes in Shipping.
• Support document filing and maintenance for audits and update team boards in Shipping & Warehouse.
• Assist in creating SOPs, OPLs, and workflows for new warehouses after Manager review in Warehouse.
• Aid in uploading and updating audit closure evidence in Warehouse.
• Support Warehouse Supervisor in conducting training for newcomers in both Shipping & Warehouse.
