Key responsibilities

• Host engaging and interactive live streaming sessions on TikTok and Shopee platforms, showcasing our premium e-commerce products
• Deliver persuasive product demonstrations and presentations that highlight key features, benefits and unique selling points
• Interact authentically with live viewers, responding to questions, comments and feedback in real-time to build community and trust
• Develop creative content ideas and propose innovative approaches to make live sessions entertaining and shareable
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan live streaming schedules, promotional campaigns and seasonal events
• Monitor viewer engagement metrics and gather audience insights to continuously improve live streaming performance
• Maintain brand voice consistency whilst adapting content to suit the unique culture and preferences of each platform
• Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure smooth product availability and customer satisfaction during live events
• Build and nurture relationships with regular viewers to foster brand loyalty and repeat purchases

About you

• Proven experience as a live host, content creator or on-camera presenter, preferably in e-commerce, retail or sales environments
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage audiences authentically and think on your feet during live interactions
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated understanding of TikTok and Shopee platforms, including their unique features, audience demographics and best practices for live commerce
• Excellent product knowledge retention and ability to quickly learn about new items and communicate their value effectively
• Natural charisma, confidence and ability to entertain whilst maintaining professionalism and brand standards
• Strong ability to multitask, manage viewer interactions whilst monitoring sales metrics and engagement in real-time
• Creative mindset with the ability to propose fresh ideas for content and viewer engagement strategies
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic understanding of performance metrics such as views, engagement rates and conversion data
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends when live commerce activity is typically highest
