Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a livestream host to run live sessions, present products, and engage viewers across social platforms. You will showcase product highlights, respond to comments, and maintain high energy with creative presentation.

The role requires 1-2 years in e-commerce and livestream, strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and solid time management and problem-solving to troubleshoot during streams.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma, Degree or relevant certifications.
• 1-2 years experience in e-commerce and livestream.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Able to communicate and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to handle live stream.

Responsibilities

• Host live streaming sessions on social media platforms.
• Introduce product selling points, display of product, reviews and interact with customers/viewers in an attractive and creative manner during livestream session.
• Monitor live stream audience engagement in real-time, addressing feedback and interacting with viewers to enhance the experience.
• Ensure seamless setup and operation of all technical equipment (cameras, microphones, switchers, streaming software) by conducting pre-event testing to confirm all systems are functioning optimally.
• Ensure live streams meet technical standards and platform-specific requirements (e.g., TikTok, Shopee) for consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to plan, coordinate, and execute high-quality live streaming events and schedules.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media best practices.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed.
