Job summary

Swan Garden Resort Hotel in Melaka invites an Audio Visual Technician to join our events team. You will set up, operate, and dismantle AV systems for weddings, conferences, and special events, ensuring flawless performance.

You will provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot issues in real time, and assist with hybrid meetings using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex, while upholding hotel safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Audio Visual Technology or related field.
• Experience in hotels, convention centres, event companies, or AV services is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with Zoom, Teams and Webex for hybrid meetings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for events.
• Produce on-site technical support and resolve issues during events.
• Test and ensure proper function of all AV gear before events.
• Maintain inventory and perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate with clients and teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Support hybrid meetings and virtual events using Zoom, Teams, and Webex.
