Job summary

Tawfeek Badjenid & Partners in Penang seeks a Legal Assistant (Litigation) to support lawyers in filing, drafting, and client communications. The role requires independent work, attention to deadlines, and strong research abilities.

Chambering duties include assisting partners, handling tasks, and maintaining professional discipline in a fast-paced firm with 13 branches, ~50 lawyers and over 200 staff across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Highly responsible, reliable, honest & independent
• Honest and meticulous
• Possess good communication skills, good work discipline & analytical skills
• Resourceful, with good initiative and mindful of turnaround time for work completion
• Ability to work independently and those with work experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Attend to clients and other legal works assigned by the Firm from time to time
• To assist lawyers and partners with various tasks and duties
• Work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
