Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Operations
a) Operate production machinery to achieve established efficiency, productivity, and output targets.
b) Monitor and maintain equipment, workstations, and surrounding areas to ensure operational readiness.
c) Complete required production records, check sheets, and system entries accurately and timely.
d) Perform cleaning and sanitation activities in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
e) Manage waste and rework according to established procedures.
f) Maintain accountability for production performance, quality, and resource utilization.
g) Support production activities across different machines or work areas as assigned.
h) Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety requirements, and company policies at all times.
2. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
a) Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on production equipment.
b) Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and process-related issues.
c) Perform inspection, calibration, and adjustment of equipment components and control systems.
d) Execute Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) activities to maintain equipment reliability.
e) Support root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to minimize equipment downtime.
f) Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance records in accordance with plant standards.
g) Communicate equipment issues, maintenance activities, and shift pass-down information effectively.
3. Continuous Improvement & Operational Support
a) Participate in continuous improvement projects and productivity enhancement initiatives.
b) Maintain accurate documentation related to operations, maintenance, and improvement activities.
c) Monitor and update plant performance metrics as required.
d) Support inventory management and replenishment of operational and maintenance supplies.
e) Contribute to cross-functional teams and special projects as assigned.
f) Perform other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
1. Education
a) Vocational Certificate, STPM/A-Level, or equivalent required.
b) Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
2. Experience
a) Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience for candidates with a Technical Certificate or equivalent.
b) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for Diploma holders.
c) Experience in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment is preferred.
3. Knowledge & Skills
a) Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and equipment operation.
b) Understanding of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis techniques.
c) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn manufacturing software systems.
d) Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
e) Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
f) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
g) Knowledge of GMP, food safety standards, and workplace safety practices is an advantage.
