Job summary

YLI Industry Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Technical Engineer to support product development and provide technical expertise across projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and QA/QC teams to ensure robust design, thorough testing, and full regulatory compliance. Key duties include preparing design drawings, developing new product designs, performing lighting calculations and testing, and maintaining ISO 9001 documentation for the R&D department while assisting the Project Sales team with

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in any discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year related working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop product design drawings and layout plans.
• Develop detailed designs for new products, including technical drawings and specifications (dimensions, materials, and processes).
• Conduct lighting calculations and lux simulations to support product development and project requirements.
• Perform product testing using laboratory equipment such as goniophotometer, IP testing equipment, and integrating sphere.
• Prepare and maintain ISO 9001 documentation for the R&D department, ensuring compliance with quality management standards.
• Provide technical support to the Project Sales team on product applications, specifications, and project-related matters.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
