Job summary

Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd is seeking a Legal Executive in Johor to join the in-house legal team on a full-time basis. Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in property law or real estate practice.
• Qualifications as a legal professional with Malaysia credentials.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian property law, conveyancing and land registration.
• Solid understanding of property transactions and related documentation.
• Proficient in legal research, drafting and writing.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with property development transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

About the role

COUNTRY GARDEN GROUP is seeking a Legal Executive to join our dynamic legal team on a full-time basis based in Central Park,Tampoi,Johor. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of comprehensive legal services across our property development operations. As a Legal Executive, you will play an essential part in ensuring our business operates in full compliance with property law regulations whilst supporting strategic initiatives across the organisation. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in property law within a growing real estate development company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support on property transactions, including sales, purchases, and lease agreements
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating property-related contracts and legal documents
• Conduct property title searches and due diligence investigations to ensure legal compliance
• Support the senior legal team with land registration, conveyancing, and property documentation matters
• Maintain accurate records of legal files, contracts and property documentation
• Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies and property regulators as required
• Assist with legal research on property law matters and regulatory requirements
• Support the management of legal risks associated with property development activities
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of legal templates and property transaction procedures
• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the legal department

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in property law or real estate legal practice
• Qualification as a legal professional with relevant credentials in Malaysia
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian property law, conveyancing procedures and land registration requirements
• Excellent understanding of property transactions, contract law and property documentation
• Proficiency in legal research, document drafting and legal writing
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple property files and deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all legal documentation
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Preferred experience with property development projects and real estate transactions
