Job summary

NG CHOO BENG R. NAIDU & PARTNERS is seeking a skilled lawyer to assist in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters from Ipoh. You will draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements and other legal documents, and support corporate transactions such as mergers, partnerships and restructurings.

• Experience handling corporate and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements and documents.
• Assist in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling a broad range of corporate and commercial matters and transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements, contracts and other documents.
• Assist in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and other related matters.
• Conduct legal research and assist in providing advice on corporate, commercial and regulatory issues.
• Liaise with clients, company secretaries, regulatory authorities and other relevant parties.
• Assist partners and senior lawyers in managing transactions and ensuring that matters progress smoothly and within the required timelines.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Firm from time to time, including certain aspects of general civil litigation and conveyancing matters.
• Handle property transfers and financing transactions.
• Manage conveyancing files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
