A legal firm in Sungai Petani seeks candidates for a conveyancing role requiring a minimum of 3 years experience. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential, with Mandarin as a bonus. Responsibilities include drafting Sale and Purchase Agreements, liaising with clients, and handling banking documentation. The ideal candidate should work independently and efficiently while also being a team player. This role offers the opportunity to manage files from inception to legal possession.
With a minimum of 3 years experience conveyancing will be preferable.
Must be proficient in Bahasa Malaysia & English. Able to read and converse in Mandarin will be an advantage.
Able to work and handle files efficiently and independently with minimal supervision, and able to work as a team.
Able to draft Sub-sale Sale and Purchase Agreement independently and handle the file from beginning until handover VP / Legal Possession.
Familiar with banking documentations.
Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities i.e. Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN etc.
Prepare legal opinion and legal advise on all aspects of sale and purchase transaction and loan drawdown.
Draft correspondences, legal instruments or documents to developers, banks, third parties.
Address residential and commercial projects’ legal issues.
Handle and attend to signings of Sale and Purchase Agreement and Loan Documentation.
