Job summary

Rozali Ismail & Co. invites applications for Legal Associates to join our Corporate & Commercial Law team in Puncak Alam, Selangor and TTDI Plaza Kuala Lumpur.

This full-time role offers opportunities to work with senior lawyers on a range of corporate matters and property transactions. You will handle conveyancing, draft and review SPA and loan documentation, and liaise with banks, developers and authorities.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a recognised institution with Malaysian Bar admission.
• Minimum 3 years of conveyancing experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify legal issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication to explain complex concepts.
• Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Rozali Ismail & Co. is seeking talented Legal Associates to join our Corporate & Commercial Law team in Puncak Alam, Selangor and TTDI Plaza Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal career within a dynamic and growing law firm. As a Legal Associate, you will work closely with senior lawyers and partners, gaining valuable experience across a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters. This role is essential to our firm's success, as you will contribute directly to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients whilst building your expertise in this specialised field.

Key responsibilities

Handle sale and purchase transactions for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Prepare, review and advise on Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA), loan documentation, and transfer documents.

Attend signing with clients, banks, developers, and relevant stakeholders.

Manage perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charge, and related processes.

Liaise with land offices, banks, developers, and government authorities.

Prepare reports, status updates, and documentation for clients and management.

What we're looking for

A law degree from a recognised institution with admission to the Malaysian Bar Council or equivalent qualification

Minimum 3 years and above of experience in conveyancing practice

Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify legal issues and develop practical solutions

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly

Proficiency in legal drafting and document preparation

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients

Proficiency in English; proficiency in Malay or Mandarin Chinese would be advantageous
