Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain file management and respond to client inquiries.
• Prepare correspondence, documents, and status reports.
• Undertake other conveyancing duties as assigned.

This role involves assisting partners in conveyancing matters, including sub-sale, project, and loan documentation, from commencement to completion. You will work independently while undertaking responsibility for legal transactions and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the partners in conveyancing matters, including sub-sale, project, and loan documentation, from commencement to completion
• Draft and review Sale & Purchase Agreements, loan documentation, and other related legal documents
• Monitor and follow up on all files to ensure timely completion of transactions and compliance with deadlines
• Maintain proper file management, attend to client enquiries, and provide regular progress updates
• Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and status reports as required
• Undertake any other conveyancing-related duties and assignments as may be assigned by the partners

About you

• Called to the Malaysian Bar and hold a valid Practising Certificate
• Freshly called to the Malaysian Bar or lawyers with PQE 1-2 years
• Able to work independently and undertake responsibility
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Responsible, meticulous, organised, and committed to meeting deadlines
• Good and positive attitude and willing to learn
