SEGi University in Malaysia invites applications for a lecturer in Law to plan, deliver lectures and tutorials, assess students, and contribute to curriculum reviews. The role includes pastoral care, materials development, and monitoring student progress.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Syariah/Islamic Law, with Civil Law familiarity a plus, at least 3 years teaching, and proficiency in English and Arabic.
To plan, prepare and deliver lecture and tutorial to students.
To prepare assessments and grade students’ work.
To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of curriculum review.
To provide pastoral care and support to students.
To assist in the development of teaching materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
To participate in marketing activities.
To handle any other responsibilities as deemed necessary
Requirements:
Possess Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Syariah, Islamic Law or equivalent.
A dual background or familiarity with Civil Law is a strong advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience.
Knowledge of MQA standards and tertiary education practices is an added advantage.
High proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic language
Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills; demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence.
