Job summary

SEGi University in Sarawak is seeking a lecturer to plan, prepare and deliver lectures and tutorials, assess student work and contribute to curriculum development.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's and a Master's in Education, at least 3 years teaching or related experience, excellent English, and strong classroom management and communication skills to support student-centered learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s qualification in Education (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching or working experience. Prior experience in higher education, curriculum planning, and MQA compliance is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills; demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures and tutorials.
• Prepare assessments and grade students’ work.
• Contribute to development, planning and implementation of curriculum review.
• Provide pastoral care and support to students.
• Assist in development of teaching materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
• Participate in marketing activities.
• Handle any other responsibilities as deemed necessary
