The lecturer will plan, prepare and deliver lectures, develop materials, assess students, provide guidance and contribute to curriculum and QA activities.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, practical sessions and other learning activities related to Special Needs Education.
Develop and update teaching materials, assessments and learning resources in accordance with programme requirements.
Conduct assessments, provide constructive feedback and monitor students' academic progress.
Provide academic guidance, consultation and support to students.
Participate in curriculum development, review and continuous quality improvement activities.
Contribute to academic administration, programme activities and student engagement initiatives.
Participate in internal and external academic activities, including workshops, seminars, conferences and industry/community engagement.
Maintain accurate academic records and comply with institutional policies, procedures and quality assurance requirements.
Undertake other academic responsibilities assigned by the Programme Leader or Management.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Special Needs Education, Special Education, Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education or a related field from a recognised institution.
Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with substantial relevant industry/teaching experience may also be considered, subject to applicable academic and regulatory requirements.
Relevant teaching experience in Special Needs Education / Special Education / Inclusive Education / Early Childhood Education will be an advantage.
Knowledge and practical experience in working with children or learners with special educational needs is highly desirable.
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about teaching, mentoring and developing students.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an academic team.
Candidates with experience in curriculum development, assessment, MQA requirements or academic quality assurance will have an added advantage.
