Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia seeks a Training Manager to build employee competencies by deploying and designing effective learning solutions across the site. You will manage local programs, budgets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent, you will partner with HR, Operations, Engineering and Quality to implement global learning standards while tailoring them to site needs. This role supports two local FTEs and collaborates with external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development or related field.
• Eight+ years of experience in learning, training or workforce capability, preferably in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience designing or delivering learning interventions and capability-building programs.
• Experience partnering with operational, engineering and quality stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate global learning guidelines into practical site-level policies, processes and solutions.
• Partner with local HR and functional leaders to assess capability requirements and learning priorities.
• Design, coordinate and oversee the delivery of in-house and third-party learning solutions across functions and levels.
• Manage the local learning budget.
• Engage external providers and manage resources per global supplier list.
• Ensure programs are consistently implemented and compliant with quality, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Lead strategic local learning and capability projects with clear milestones and KPIs.
• Partner with the global learning team to implement corporate programs and share best practices.
• Track learning metrics and use insights to improve processes and outcomes.
• Build internal trainers and subject-matter expert capability through guidance and support.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and reinforce company values.
